Online Curriculums
At Gravitas Education we have two international online curriculums on offer, the Core Essential Learning Program and the General Education Diploma (GED®).
These online curriculums will bring your child learning content that is:
- relevant, interactive, and engaging,
- for primary to middle school curriculum (Grade K – 8 Core Essential Learning Program),
- for high school-aged learners (General Educational Diploma).

Placement Assessment Test
We first start-off with an online diagnostic four subject-wide placement assessment test, that will allow us to see exactly at which subject grade level the learner should start with. This will also expose any learning gaps that your child may have within the three “Rs” of Reading, Writing and Arithmetic.
Online tutorials and continuous assessments
Online tutorials (presentation or video with audio) and interactive lessons ensure the engagement of each learner. Then there are the online continuous assessments. These lesson-by-lesson assessments provide feedback to your child’s progress, per subject, daily.
The system not only measures how much time your child has spent on a subject, but also how much focus they put on the subject matter during that time. And the system also records the number of problems or exercises the learner completed and at what competency level (measured in % correct answers submitted).
The online learning system records and measures:
- Time spent per subject lesson,
- The child’s focus per lesson,
- Percentage of correct answers submitted,
- Number of lessons problems completed,
- Learning velocity per subject,
- Measures grade level progress,
- Number of standards completed per subject.
Parent’s Portal
The parent’s portal allows you to check-in online where you as the parent get to see reports per subject on your child's progress, in near real-time. This gives you insight into your child’s focus on their school work and to identify gaps in their understanding, which you can then give the required remedial attention.
Core Essential Learning Program
Internationally Recognized GED® program
The General Educational Diploma (GED®) is the only higher secondary certificate available in over 85 countries and accepted by nearly all universities in the U.S.A. and many other universities across the world. The GED® is an alternative higher secondary certificate.
