The Trivium Method
Simply stated, the Trivium method focuses on:
- Grammar to read well,
 - Logic to think well,
 - Rhetoric to speak and write well.

The Grammar Stage
Young children can memorize huge amounts of information, from the alphabet to TV jingles to names of constellations. Children want to give a name to each thing in their world.

The Logic Stage
The middle school learner enjoys having to learn facts for their own sake, becomes argumentative, wants to see at the big picture, and wants to know why things are the way they are and work the way they do.

The Rhetoric Stage
The high school learner feels compelled to express thoughts, opinions, and individuality through whatever means are available, whether it be through forceful writing and speaking or brightly coloured hair.

Classical education has always integrated these three stages into the whole, which various other educational movements have tried to isolate and then treat each one separately.
Our learners are grounded in the classical values of truth, logic, ethics, and service. This is done by studying classical literary works and then discussing their relevance to their everyday lives. So that they may embody the virtue of Gravitas in all aspects of their life.
"Gravitas was one of the Roman virtues along with Pietas (Piety), Dignitas (Dignity), and Virtus (Truthfulness). Gravitas may be translated variously as Weight, Seriousness, and Dignity.”
